The Bridge

B'Elanna: I glared at Seven. "Well, someone's being observant today...." I muttered irritably.

Kathryn: "Hold on a second.... Delta Quadrant?"

Tom: "Yes. We were pulled into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker, and we have been stuck there ever since, attempting to get back home. We were forced together with the Maquis in the Delta Quadrant, and Chakotay became First Officer when Commander Cavitt was killed."

Kathryn: I shook my head. "I highly doubt that. We left DS9 a few moments ago,"

Tuvok: "I believe that they are lying to keep themselves out of the brig, and that Mister Paris is, apparently, in league with the Maquis again," I stated.

Tom: I laughed quietly, "You expect me to come up with that kind of a story?"

Cavitt: "I wouldn't put it past you Mister Paris...."

B'Elanna: "Yeah. Neither would I, Mister Paris," I rolled my eyes.

Kathryn: I shook my head. "It's all a very nice story, but I'm not willing to discuss it right now."

Tom: "What are you willing to discuss?"

Kathryn: "What the Maquis insurgents are doing here, and how they got here without detection,"

Chakotay: "There is no way to get on this ship without detection. Tom is telling you the truth."

Tom: "You could also try to figure out why an ex-Borg is on Voyager. The pieces don't fit together, do they?" I asked. "Try listening to what we have to say!!"

Cavitt: "Listen to your lies, Mister Paris? I am sure that we have much better things to do than listen to your farfetched story."

Tom: "It isn't just a story! It's what happened!"

Chakotay: "Tom! Calm down, we will figure this out."

B'Elanna: I rolled my eyes. "Yeah. We'll figure it out," I said sarcastically. "Likely,"

Kathryn: I rubbed my forehead, completely irritated. "What do you suggest then, Mister Paris?"

Tom: "I don't know. Try to comprehend what I'm explaining? Or you could just throw us in the brig like you have most likely been planning all along."

Cavitt: "Try to comprehend your lies? Very likely Mister Paris."

Harry: I walked into the Bridge and looked around, "Captain, what is going on?" I asked.

Kathryn: I looked at Ensign Kim. "It seems we have several intruders." I sighed.

B'Elanna: "As I'm sure has been pointed out, if we had been intruders, you would know."

Kathryn: "Not necessarily, our sensors have been malfunctioning, they may not have told us you were aboard." I shook my head. "I'm going to need a better explanation than that," I looked around. "Is anyone willing to offer one?"

Chakotay: "It is possible that some of the crew were taken back in time, and the rest didn't travel back in time with us. We reached some sort of anomaly while we were on course in the Delta Quadrant. We can't make you believe us, you haven't been in the future, so we can't prove any of what we are saying to you."

Tuvok: "He is correct Captain. If they are from the future, there would be no way for them to prove to us that they are,"

B'Elanna: "Wait, Chakotay, couldn't we show them mission logs? There are so many there's no way we could have fabricated them,"

Chakotay: I looked at B'Elanna, "If they are there. I'm not sure that they would be, but it is worth a try."

Tom: I nodded, "I don't see why they wouldn't be there."

Kathryn: I shook my head. "Fine. With supervision, I will allow you to access these supposed 'Mission Logs', Commander Cavitt, will you escort them to Engineering, and report back with what they show you?"

Cavitt: I nodded, "Of course, Captain."

B'Elanna: I glanced at Chakotay. Main Engineering. I wondered how much of my staff would recognize me... hopefully enough that there wouldn't be an uprising. I stepped back into the turbolift, waiting for the others.

Kathryn: I sighed, "Tuvok, you go with them, too," I added, sitting down in my chair.

Tuvok: I nodded and stepped into the turbolift with the others.

Kathryn: I looked at Commander Cavitt, and nodded. "So, then the next step would be to figure out what is going on, and how to fix it,"

Chakotay: "I have a theory, Captain," I said before Commander Cavitt could respond, "I believe that it is possible that we have switched places with certain members of both crews on Voyager--both crews from the two separate Voyagers that are in two separate places in time. That we," I gestured to Tom, B'Elanna, and Seven, "have gone back in time, while others have gone forward in time to where we were a few minutes ago. Which present the question: If this is what happened; are there other individuals who have traveled either forward in time to our Voyager, or back in time to yours?"

Kathryn: "That's definitely a plausible theory. And an excellent question to counter it. I'd guess that there are others, but that would suggest there are two Voyagers. How could that be, from a simple disturbance in subspace?"

B'Elanna: "Well, that one I may be able to answer," I piped up. "Chakotay, I'm sure you remember almost six years ago, when Voyager was duplicated? Well, I think this is similar to that, only... it involves time as well. Which obviously presents a problem. At least the antimatter isn't being shared between both ships this time. That gives us a little more freedom to figure this out."

Kathryn: "I'd suggest that before we start anything, we figure out who is where, and from which time they are. And we can all get our stories straight on relationships and other important information before proceeding,"

Chakotay: I nodded, "We'll need to see who is missing from this Voyager, and see who else is here. There may be people here that could cause problems with members of this crew."

B'Elanna: "Well, how do we do that without taking hours?" I sighed.

Chakotay: "It is something that has to be found out, Lieutenant, regardless of how long it takes."

Tom: "There has to be some other way."

Kathryn: "We could do it by department... Bridge Officers, Engineering, Science.... other.... if necessary,"

Chakotay: "We shouldn't miss any crew members if we go by department," I agreed.
