Chakotay's Quarters

Chakotay: "I agree. The Starfleet uniforms are uncomfortable." I walked over to her, "Are the other Maquis ready?"

Seska: "Yes. And on edge, ready,"

Chakotay: "Then let's go. Janeway is our first priority, after she has been dealt with, we will use the comm system to contact the other Maquis so that they can quickly and efficiently subdue the rest of the crew."

Seska: I nodded. "Okay, sounds like a plan,"

Chakotay: I walked out of the room.

Seska: I followed him.

B'Elanna: I stood outside Chakotay's quarters, pacing.

Chakotay: I heard the computer announce that there was someone outside the door, "Come in," I said.

B'Elanna: I walked in. "I need to talk to you,"

Chakotay: "Alright. Take a seat," I replied.

B'Elanna: "No thanks." I shook my head.

Chakotay: "Fine. I know what you're here to say, but go ahead and say it anyway."

B'Elanna: "Tom is still furious with me. He won't have a civil conversation. There's no way to fix this, especially since he won't listen to me." I told him, gritting my teeth. "How am I supposed to deal with this?!" I asked, beginning to pace again. "I still haven't slept in three days. I'm on edge. I cannot handle this kind of stress, Chakotay!"

Chakotay: I stood up and looked at her, "Stop pacing B'Elanna. I'll speak to the Captain and have her discuss things with Tom. I doubt he'll listen to me, but he might listen to her. I can't change what has happened, and we are just going to have to learn how to deal with the aftereffects." I walked over to her, "Why haven't you slept for three days? I understand that we have been busy with refitting the warp coils, but you had time to sleep after that was done."

B'Elanna: "I can't sleep," I shook my head, forcing myself to stop pacing. "After you told me about the plan last night... I just couldn't sleep,"

Chakotay: "Go get some sleep, B'Elanna. That's an order. I'll have the Captain talk to Tom."

B'Elanna: "I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep, but... I'll try," I sighed. "Is that all?"

Chakotay: "I am sorry for what I put you through B'Elanna."

B'Elanna: I nodded. "I know you are. Sorry for yelling...."

Chakotay: "Do you have anything else you want to talk about?"

B'Elanna: "Are you okay?" I asked.

Chakotay: I sighed, "Everything will go back to normal soon. I'm fine. We did what we had do, willingly or not."

B'Elanna: I nodded. "I guess so," I sighed and turned to the door. "Goodnight,"

Chakotay: I nodded, "Get some sleep B'Elanna."

B'Elanna: "I will, and thanks again," I said, walking out.
